For reasonably big bucks these days, my cell phone gets calls from actors, athletes and celebrities. They want me to help them lose weight.
It’s crisis intervention at its best.
Their biggest issue?
They’re carrying around a lot of extra blubber around their middle.
Of course, they’re not alone. It’s just that their career depends upon it. (Ever notice when an actor always gets closeups?)
Now, I must tell you we’re not going to do anything stupid. Nothing that puts you in harms way.
For instance, remember actor Christian Bale in The Mechanic?
That guy ate NOTHING but sardines and apples for weeks on end to look like that.
(What’s fascinating is that right after The Mechanic, Christian had to immediately bulk up big time for Batman Dark Knight. That’s also a stress on your body.)
The point I’m trying to make is there are a lot of stupid diets. A lot of dangerous gimmicks that can land you in the emergency room in a heartbeat if you’re not watching out.
But I’m not encouraging any of that. You have my word. Yet, the plan I’m advocating is definitely on the extreme side of things.
Yes, you can safely lose as much as 2-3 pounds a day. It takes effort. It takes focus.
But it’s totally doable.
All it takes is a plan...
